The Ranches at Belt Creek Subdivision

Cascade County, MT

This upscale development encompasses 68 ranch-style lots situated along a bluff overlooking the Belt Creek valley. One of the most challenging engineering aspects was to provide safe access to and from the home sites. An approximately 500 foot elevation difference exists from the county road to the platted parcels. Overcoming this topography required a thorough route selection analysis including alternatives that passed through neighboring properties. Extensive excavation and embankment through a series of switchbacks with guardrail protection was necessary to construct a road that met all Cascade County Design Standards and provided safe use. In addition to the complicated street design, on-site water and sewer systems were designed for each individual lot.
