Mark began his education attending Northern Montana College where he received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering Technology. After graduating, Mark went to work for a mid-size Montana engineering firm and worked as a surveyor, draftsman, and construction inspector. After two years, Mark went back to school to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Montana State University in Bozeman. As a student, Mark worked for the Montana Department of Transportation in the Student Design Unit in Bozeman. Upon graduation, Mark went to work for the MDT in the Great Falls District Office as a designer. After working for MDT, Mark went to work for private consultants and has been working as a Project Manager, Designer Engineer, and now a Principal in a private consulting engineering firm.

Mark has over 20 years’ experience working in the Engineering and Surveying field and has a wide array of expertise in several different areas including: roadway/highway/recreational trail design, railroad design, flood studies, hydraulics & hydrology, legal land surveys, ALTA/ASCM surveys, water system modeling, subdivisions, on-site wastewater, water distribution systems, wastewater collection. Mark is licensed as a Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor in the State of Montana.
