Broadwater Drive Sewer Extension
(wastewater)
The 2009 Broadwater Drive Sewer Extension Project consisted of the installation of 1,050 lineal feet of sewer main, 7 new manholes and appurtenant surface restorations. The project was privately funded and was necessary for the construction of a new Anheuser Busch warehouse facility.
The project was quite complex due to multiple utility conflicts including natural gas, underground telephone, underground electrical, existing water mains, and bridge bents/footings. The route of the main was carefully selected as grade was limited and the main was to pass under “Warden Bridge” of 10thAve. So. Extensive coordination with the Montana Department of Transportation was necessary because of the close proximity of the sewer main to existing bridge bents. The complete project was deemed successful by the owner, the city of Great Falls and all other entities involved.
